The Importance of data driven government:

Electing to work in the public sector is a deliberate choice to serve.  The explosion of data in terms of volume, velocity, variety and value is fundamentally making government a data driven enterprise. Data is now a core strategic asset that fundamentally contributes to societal impact. Impact is the "why" we come to work every day. 

Data is an under appreciated and undervalued strategic asset.  It is not reported on the financial statements, but is probably the most valuable strategic asset after our people.  Data, when used properly, contributes to better decisions, better policy, better advice and more responsive services to our communities and stakeholders. 

We believe in making our country and communities a better place to live, work, grow and thrive. 

We believe that data is a key contributor that can help us contribute to a vibrant community.

Our goal is to make a meaningful contribution, to move the needle, to create better communities.

We do that with data, we use data to contribute to the common good, to answer key policy questions, to deliver service efficiently, and deliver impact that makes a difference in people's lives
